Right now my husband is serving in the Gulf. We’ve been apart for 8 + months after NEVER being apart in 21 years. You hit it on the head with how intimacy grows through all the ups and downs. He commented today on how happy he is that he is coming home to wife that feels closer to him instead of farther apart. He promised me that he’ll probably sleep the first week, so I can ease into the routine of having him in my space!
