Can I add a fifth, related “what if”? If we would pray for others we don’t even know, we just might find our own prayers answered, maybe even people praying for us and we don’t even know it! I’ve tried this second and third hand prayer, and I swear it’s helped our marriage. The thing is, when we pray for someone, we’re actually praying for many. It’s the simple law of association; everybody knows somebody.
