Well, if anyone’s interested, I wrote “Angela: A New Mexico Christmas”. It’s about a kid and a cow and unexpected grace, and it’s only 99 cents on Amazon Kindle.

Though I won’t have the cash to give it to Barbara for Christmas, I’m saving up for a special gift for her: passive night vision rifle optics.

See, we live in the country, a long way from any help, and when I’m dead from cancer, I want her to have something that answers the things that go bump in the night with clear vision, and something that goes Boom.

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
