I don’t fantasize about anything wild and crazy with my husband, like imagining he’s a completely different type of person, imagining away personality quirks, etc. But rather, I imagine about things that are realistic, that could actually happen, within the scope of our marriage. So, I don’t imagine changing anything about his penis (not that I have an issue with it!), but I might fantasize about what we could do if he had a bit less belly (and if I were thinner too.) Or I might fantasize about him undressing me, but I don’t fantasize about him doing something with his hands that’s very hard to do (he has carpal tunnel).
I just find these are good guidelines to help fantasy add to our sex life rather than diminish it, because letting myself fantasize along these lines doesn’t lead to deflated hopes when I remember that it’s highly unlikely to happen.
