Sex is not allowed if kids are home (they are teenagers), so four mos of year no sex (pretty much happens when they are in school and usually once a month a couple days after her cycle only)). Third, I agree with this post but it has hurt me for a long time. She wants light kisses for reasons stated above by JP, but that’s the most, she has said that is enough intimacy for her and had a long period where she said she no longer wanted sex and has always been happy without it, she still wanted hugs and a light kiss daily, when this started hurting me, i told her I had to stop the kisses and hugs and I explained, I told her how sex brought closeness for me and connection, like kisses and hugs did for her, she said I shouldn’t need that to feel close to my wife.
BTW I was seeking 1-2x a month
So, I kiss her now but she just wants a light peck when kids can’t see, sometimes a longer kiss but kids generally would be in bed or out of house. I’m sad, but I’m committed so I just share

We had much bigger problems than that so I do also feel is it too much to want that also? But it really really is not good. It ruins sex also. Makes me feel like Vivian from Pretty Woman. Not in a good way.

I think you work with what you can get and perhaps build on it. My husband and I had to negotiate a bit on what kinds of kisses we both enjoyed. I do wonder if she had a bad experience with kissing in the past or an aversion to sharing saliva (which some people have).
