When we got married, there were only 2 reliable Christian resources on sex (Act of Marriage and Intended for Pleasure. We did have pre-martial counseling (several sessions) but nothing on sex. Both our parents gave us little or advice on sex . The message at our church was don’t do it until you are married. The landscape has sure changed since we were married (we were married before the first IBM PC was sold…LOL).

In reply to Some Guy. I've noticed the same trend with sex blogs, in particular Christian sex blogs, but HH and H is still posting (thanks J!). I certainly haven't noticed any less emphasis on sex positivity on this blog. I enjoyed the recent blog on non intercourse sex since that applies to our marriage (no intercourse in over six years ) This blog is a bit of a life line for us husbands dealing with this stuff (at least speaking for myself). Just my two cents.

In reply to Some Guy. Yes, many blogs have gone away. But that's because blogging itself has largely gone away...or really, it's now moved to Substack for a lot of folks. (I still post here as well as at Substack.) But there are many more books, podcasts, online courses, sermons, and more on this topic. I can't speak to those sites that you named, but I would like to know more about about HHH "feels less sex-positive now than it used to." If you want to share your full thoughts on that, feel free to email me. I'd be very interested in reading your take. Thanks!

Interesting, I’d been thinking the exact opposite. Ten years ago we had lots of active Christian sex blogs, and now we’re in a relative desert. Off the top of my head:

Christian Nymphos: moved to Monogabliss and quickly stopped posting, has since disappeared.
Love, Marriage and Sex: abandoned and since disappeared
Married Christian Sex (previous Sex Within Marriage): still exists, but no posts for over a year.
Intimacy in Marriage: still exists, but no posts in three years.
Awaken Love: still exists, but no posts in three years.
Love Hope Adventure: still posting, but almost all reposts.
The XY Code: came to an end a year or two ago.
Hot Holy Humorous: you may disagree, but to me it feels less sex-positive now that it used to.

I don’t know what’s driven this trend, but it seems pretty incontrovertible.
