Sex Chat for Christian Wives Has Launched!

♥ Happy Valentine’s Day! ♥

Whether you’re celebrating in style or simply displaying everyday romance to your spouse, may your day be an enjoyable one!

And if you’re looking for something to spark your mood or just help you on path toward greater sexual intimacy, it’s our official launch day! Sex Chat for Christian Wives podcast has gone live, and we have three episodes you can listen to right now.
SCFCW We've Launched with Sketched Rocket

We’re pretty excited about our content!

Episode 1 is on Getting in the Mood.

Episode 2 is about Sexual Positions.

Episode 3 addresses 50 Shades of Here-We-Go-Again.

A few have mentioned our not-yet-stellar audio quality. Yes, I realize that there is some background noise and reverberation. And I’m sorry for the inconvenience on your end.

Frankly, we are four working-from-home wives with limited time and a limited budget, and we are still gathering recording savvy, audio editing skills, and equipment to improve our sound. We genuinely hope you’ll stick with us as we continue to develop. Much like our blogs — Hot Holy & Humorous, The Forgiven Wife, OysterBed7and Calm.Healthy.Sexy. — we started with what we had and will prioritize becoming more and more professional in our presentation. But the substance itself is well worth the listen. And I can tell our recordings are improving with the knowledge we’ve gained.

More episodes are coming!

And thanks to you who have already listened. It’s pretty amazing to look and see that, as of publishing this post, we’ve already had 1270 downloads!

We pray that we will find the audience who needs to hear our message about the gift of sexual intimacy in marriage as God intended. We want to reach as many wives as possible.

I’m glad to read this post. I listened to #2 yesterday and I almost bailed because the audio was so poor. The girl talk giggles won me over though.

Oh thank you! We were so frustrated with the audio issues ourselves. My investigation said that I could fix it…with very expensive mixing equipment. *sigh* Instead, we’re focusing on better recording quality, rather than trying to edit out the issues. But we are well aware and taking steps to improve our sound, as well as invest in the future on equipment as our funds allow. Glad you listened! Blessings.

Pocket Casts is my go-to app! Thanks for mentioning it.

And funny you should mention the audio quality again, because three of the four of us have been spending our morning researching ways to improve our sound. So we’re working on it! Thanks.

Wow. I had to stop listening because the audio quality was SO bad…. I know you’ve probably heard it over and over the last few days, but that NEEDS to be fixed. I’m not sure what you’re using to record your podcasts, but using Skype, while giving everyone a quality Snowball ($50-100) mic, then recording the audio feed using Audio Hijack (http://www.rogueamoeba.com/audiohijack/) should be a quick fix (you’ll need a Mac to use that program).

Thanks for the tips. Yes, we are researching, asking experts, looking at equipment. Let me just say, however, that this is all volunteer on our end. We are not making money at this endeavor. I suspect if I listed my costs to blog and put together a podcast, people would be a bit surprised. I’m not complaining, because I made this choice; however, I pray that you’ll listen anyway, give us grace, and know that we are doing what we can with what we have. In the future, we will have more. In the meantime, please accept this as our ministry and listen to the content, which is quality.

By the way, one investment on my end is a quality mic. So that doesn’t seem to be the issue.

Maybe you could ask listeners to help with costs, even just on a one-time basis, esp for set-up equipment (if that’s the issue)? I would probably send some $ your way. Several of my favorite podcasters have started Patreon programs for help with costs. I think they offer premiums for certain giving levels, not sure how that would work for you gals.

Wow, that’s a fascinating concept. I’m certainly aware of crowd-fund sites like Kickstarter and GoFundMe, but Patreon’s approach is somewhat different and seems better tailored to ongoing projects like a podcast. Thanks so much for the info, as well as your willingness to contribute! I’ll share this with my podcast partners, as we are discussing (at length) all the options we have for pursuing greater professionalism in our presentation. Blessings!

I enjoy the concept and have listened to all three. I have to chuckle because the only issue I had was the audio. Thinking I was doing somethings no wrong or did something wrong. I’m glad I’m not alone and I am sure things will get fixed. You ladies are awesome and am blessed by your ministry
