A Free Christmas Short Story for You!

Each year, I try to come up with something special to gift my readers. This year, I wrote y’all a short story!

Here’s Under the Mistletoe: A Christmas Short Story: Download as a PDF.

If you’d rather read with your e-reader’s format, I’ve uploaded the story to several retailers, but I’m still waiting for it to go live. I’ll update as I get the links.

I hope you enjoy this quick tale. Here’s the teaser:

It’s Christmas Eve, and Grace still hasn’t seen a present under the Christmas tree from her husband. When Todd announces there is no present coming, she feels snubbed, not realizing that he’s got a different surprise planned. But is his gift what she really wants? Or even what she needs?

I’ll be taking a break from the blog through New Year’s. See you on the other side of 2017.

Have a Very Merry Christmas!

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

Wow J. I got teary eyed the moment Granny showed up at the door, sensing what was about to happen.

Moments of time alone with the love of our life is so needed to rekindle that flame that can grow dim with the stressors of life.

    Thank you!

Hi. Read yr Christmas story and not being same gender as the story’s, her problem
Can have similar characteristics in My own experience. I am healthy and have two fine boys from late marriage but both were born cercerian and My wife who was 39 and 45 with second child has always found intimacy painful. As i experienced a phallus type touch from old man we had to share bed ,My brother and i fought whis turn it was. My father was serving abroad and My mother was disturbed mentally or we would have shared bed with a lodger. As i am 65+ bow but still active i have to imagine that phallus again when stressed and no intimacy. I act out an early event. I have bo solution but ambivalence after that i enjoy the release but feel guilt. As a believer, i have always repeated and as Jesus can heal me when he likes and as not, i transfer this acting out by claiming My righteousness is not in My guilt or shame but un Christ. Expect this sounds Freudian but am a Jungian Reader alongside My Bible, both have helped me since a younger man, later as a Christian, in My early 40s the latter. I would like to be an Analysed but live too far from such support. I cherish your Christian blog and look fwd to My wife joining yr new podcast in February. Will the latter be audio only or chance to talk/video as it will be for Women. Yes?

    In Christ

I encourage to drive those thoughts out of your mind and find solace elsewhere, in your wife and in Christ. You can overcome this. “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5).

As for the podcast, it will be audio with us four women talking and guests from time to time. Listeners can submit questions here: http://sexchatforchristianwives.com/have-a-question/

      Thanks for reading!
